SAP TRM Consultant (Hands-on / Configuration Focus)
Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on SAP TRM Consultant with strong configuration experience to support the design, implementation, and optimization of Treasury and Risk Management solutions within SAP.
This role requires deep functional and technical expertise in SAP TRM, with the ability to actively configure the system, support end-to-end processes, and collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver scalable and efficient treasury solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and implement SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM) solutions based on business requirements
- Support end-to-end treasury processes, including cash management, liquidity planning, debt and investment management, and financial risk management
- Perform system customization, including configuration of financial instruments, transaction management, and valuation processes
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP solutions
- Provide hands-on support in system setup, testing, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in SAP TRM modules
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as FI, CO, and S/4HANA components
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls
- Create and maintain technical and functional documentation
Required Qualifications
- Advanced level of English (MUST)
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP Treasury and Risk Management (TRM)
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP TRM configuration (customizing)
- Proven experience in implementing and supporting treasury processes
- Solid understanding of financial instruments (loans, derivatives, securities, FX)
- Experience with SAP FI integration
- Experience working in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA environments
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a hands-on role
- Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and business teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP Cash Management and Liquidity Management
- Knowledge of Hedge Management and Risk Analyzer
- Experience in S/4HANA Treasury functionalities
- Exposure to banking integrations and payment interfaces
- Experience working in global or multi-currency environments
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
Nice to Have
- Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, energy, or similar)
- Understanding of financial compliance and audit requirements
- Basic ABAP knowledge for debugging and enhancements
