Job Description

Strategic Staffing Solutions International client – a global electronics manufacturing company - is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join them in Bremen, Germany.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly / quarterly and yearly reporting for our German entities including the reporting to our US parent company
• Ensure daily accounting and compliance according to US and Local Gaap (HGB)
• Strong focus on preparation and review of financial statements and month end closing according to HGB and US Gaap
• Supporting our tax department with VAT data and reports
• Correspondence and cooperation with other departments and entities within the company
• Oversee all reporting systems and ensuring of compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review Account reconciliation in Onestream

Additionally might

• Control review and administration, improvement of controls and documentation. Assistance in SOX related processes.
• Ensuring accounting, tax and reporting processes are compliant with statutory GAAP and parent company’s policy

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship in Tax and Accounting (Bilanzbuchhalter) and / or University Degree in Finance, Accounting or similar education.
• 5+ years Finance and Accounting
• Solid experience in an international working company
• Solid accounting and tax knowledge
• Ability to apply common sense and critical thinking in analyzing issues
• Ability to set priorities and hold on deadlines
• Strong communication skills and good German and English skills
• Good SAP knowledge or similar ERP system
• Good experience with MS- office programs
• Very good attention to detail and accuracy

Location: hybrid, based in Bremen, Germany

Salary: 65 000 - 75 000 EUR annually
