Required Experience:

• Medical Stop Loss and self-funded health plan underwriting
• New business and renewals
• Risk evaluation and pricing/rating
• Review of claims experience and high-cost claimants
• Specific and aggregate Stop Loss coverage
• Lasers, attachment points and coverage adjustments
• RFP review and census analysis
• Experience working with brokers, TPAs and/or carriers
• Ability to independently handle larger, more complex groups
• Underwriting authority or experience with cases up to approximately 3,000 lives
