SAP Reporting & Audit Support Specialist

Contract: 12-Month Contract (Possible Extension)
Location: Brandon / Tampa, FL Area
Work Schedule: Hybrid/Onsite as required
Pay Rate: $35-$40/hr

Position Overview

Seeking a detail-oriented SAP Reporting & Audit Support Specialist to support audit, compliance, and financial reporting activities within a large enterprise environment. This role is responsible for generating SAP reports, organizing financial documentation, preparing audit support materials, and managing Requests for Information (RFIs).

The ideal candidate has experience working with SAP reporting, Excel-based data organization, audit support processes, and financial documentation management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate and validate SAP reports for audit, compliance, and operational requests
  • Export and format SAP data into Excel for reporting and analysis purposes
  • Retrieve, organize, and maintain invoice documentation and supporting records
  • Prepare and populate RFI (Request for Information) templates for audit and compliance reviews
  • Review data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency prior to submission
  • Support internal and external audit activities through documentation management and reporting
  • Maintain organized digital filing systems and audit documentation standards
  • Collaborate with management and business stakeholders to review audit deliverables
  • Assist with financial and operational data tracking and reporting initiatives
  • Support compliance and documentation retention requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of SAP experience
    OR
  • 5+ years of related reporting/audit support experience without SAP
  • Experience running reports and retrieving data within SAP
  • Strong Excel skills including:
    • Data formatting
    • Sorting/filtering
    • Spreadsheet organization
    • Template population
    • Reporting support
  • Experience supporting:
    • Audit activities
    • Compliance reviews
    • RFIs
    • Financial documentation processes
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise finance or accounting operations
  • Familiarity with invoice processing and financial documentation workflows
  • Prior utility or energy industry experience
  • MBA, CPA, or advanced finance/accounting certifications preferred
