Job Title: Business Execution Consultant
Contract Length: 6+ Months
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid — 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Support large-scale redesign and automation initiatives focused on service fulfillment, workflow efficiency, operational risk reduction, and process optimization within securities operations environments.
This role will lead operational improvement initiatives, evaluate complex workflows, support trade-related operational processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance service fulfillment, audit readiness, scalability, and operational controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex lifecycle initiatives and operational improvement efforts within securities operations environments
- Review and analyze large-scale operational processes, workflows, and service fulfillment functions to identify efficiency and automation opportunities
- Evaluate operational challenges involving multiple variables, controls, compliance requirements, and workflow dependencies
- Make decisions related to securities operations processes while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and senior leadership to resolve operational issues and support strategic initiatives
- Lead or support projects involving operational redesign, workflow optimization, and service fulfillment transformation
- Support operational areas including:
- client account onboarding
- cash payments
- customer service
- funding operations
- custodial operations
- securities settlement services
- structured loan operations
- general ledger reconciliation
- Resolve complex escalated issues within securities operations environments
- Research operational risks and support policy development, workflow enhancements, and audit readiness initiatives
- Review time-sensitive documents and transaction requests
- Analyze trade settlement workflows and strengthen workflow controls to reduce operational breakdowns
- Monitor securities and cash-related production activities and support overall operational effectiveness
- Lead implementation of new or revised operational processes and procedures requiring coordination across multiple teams
- Perform operational analysis supporting business strategy initiatives involving financial impact and risk considerations
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Securities Operations experience
- Experience within financial services environments
- Strong understanding of:
- securities operations
- trade settlement
- operational controls
- workflow management
- compliance requirements
- Experience supporting or leading operational process improvement initiatives
- Ability to analyze and resolve complex operational issues
- Strong stakeholder collaboration and communication skills
- Experience working across cross-functional operational teams
