Job Title: Commercial Loan Operations Specialist
Location: Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months + Possibility to Extend and/or Convert to FTE
Pay Rate: $31/hr (W2 Only)
Job/Role Description:
- This role supports day-to-day operations within Commercial Lending as the organization converts systems from AFS to LoanIQ.
- Perform booking and funding of commercial loans in the LoanIQ system to maintain accurate and timely production processing.
- Respond to requests from other Lines of Business (LOBs) to post funds in internal systems and handle money movement activities.
- Assist in reducing the learning curve of LoanIQ adoption among staff while production continues during the transition.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery through accurate transaction execution, responsiveness to operational requests, and adherence to service standards.
- Troubleshoot issues related to loan booking, funding, and LoanIQ system functionality.
- Provide operational support on inquiries and requests from internal stakeholders and other LOBs.
- Accurately log and document loan transactions, funding activities, and support interactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement during the system conversion and LoanIQ adoption.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth adoption and provide guidance on LoanIQ processes.
- Report key performance metrics related to loan operations and system adoption progress to management.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in LoanIQ required
- Experience with commercial loan booking and funding operations
- Strong understanding of commercial loan credit agreements and documentation
- Knowledge of AFS is a plus
- Experience supporting system conversions or migrations in a lending or financial operations environment preferred
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Highly self-motivated and directed with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model and collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong customer service orientation
