Job Title: Project Manager – Digital Messaging & Customer Communications

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to lead multiple, complex initiatives focused on enhancing digital customer communications. This role is responsible for orchestrating cross-functional efforts to deliver program goals, improve messaging effectiveness, and drive measurable engagement outcomes.

The ideal candidate brings strong project management expertise, a data-driven mindset, and experience optimizing customer communication strategies—preferably within financial services or other highly regulated industries.

Required key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and align outcomes to achieve broader program objectives
  • Develop and maintain program roadmaps, schedules, and success metrics from inception through delivery
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
  • Continuously improve program performance across cost, schedule, and quality dimensions
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across cross-functional teams (product, marketing, design, engineering)
  • Build and manage project budgets and resource plans
  • Lead stakeholder engagement, ensuring alignment, transparency, and satisfaction

 Team-Specific required responsibilities:

  • Lead enhancement of high-impact, call-driving message templates to improve clarity and effectiveness
  • Oversee transformation of digital document notifications with personalized, actionable content to increase engagement
  • Drive end-to-end member journey mapping across multiple lines of business, identifying optimization opportunities
  • Use performance data to evolve digital messaging standards and best practices
  • Define, measure, and report on KPIs such as:
    • Template usage and enhancement volume
    • Message delivery and engagement rates (e.g., CTA clicks, opt-outs)
    • Journey mapping coverage and impact

Typical Day:

  • Update project workflows, assign tasks, and run stand-ups using JIRA
  • Track progress and manage deliverables across multiple initiatives
  • Collaborate with content strategists and UX teams on messaging and journey design
  • Review and refine messaging templates and personalization strategies
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends and inform future improvements
  • Communicate updates, risks, and insights to stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of project management experience leading complex, multi-initiative programs
  • Strong experience with Agile methodologies and risk management practices
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present to all levels of the organization

Required Skills:

  • Project Management: Expertise in planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale initiatives
  • Data Analysis & Performance Measurement (4+ years): Ability to define KPIs, analyze engagement metrics, and generate actionable insights
  • Digital Messaging Strategy (5+ years): Experience with personalization, journey mapping, A/B testing, and communication platforms

 Required Technology & Tools:

  • JIRA (workflow management and Agile execution)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Box (document collaboration)
  • Analytics tools (preferred)

 Required Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services or other regulated industries
  • Background in digital customer communications or marketing technology
  • Familiarity with UX principles and customer journey design
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for data-driven decision-making
