Job Title: Big Data Engineer (Financial Crimes)
Location: CHARLOTTE NC 28202

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and own work streams end to end
• Develop and support Big Data platforms across Source, Conform, and Curate layers
• Build and maintain data processing pipelines for financial crime use cases
• Prepare data for Transaction Monitoring, Customer Risk, and Investigations
• Work within Agile frameworks using JIRA

Required Skills

Big Data Development

• Spark
• Scala
• Python
• Autosys
• Git

Platform & Tools

• Linux Shell / Command Line
• Editors and tools such as PyCharm, Dremio
• Experience with homegrown tools (e.g., Flow Master, Edit Upload)

Data & Processing

• Strong data processing experience
• Big Data platform experience
• Data controls experience

Domain Expertise

• Financial Crime (Fin Crime)
• Experience preparing data for:
• Transaction Monitoring
• Customer Risk
• Investigations

Soft Skills

• Ability to work in Agile environments (JIRA)
• Strong ownership and accountability
• Ability to manage work streams independently
