A Strategic Operations & Continuous Improvement professional to support the planning, process development, and execution oversight of our data center commissioning and delivery programs. This role will partner closely with Engineering, Program Management (PMO), Resource Enablement & Deployment (RED), and Enterprise Services (ENS) to establish scalable processes, performance visibility, and workforce strategies as demand accelerates. This is a hands-on, execution-oriented strategy role focused on turning ambiguity into structure and enabling leadership with clear metrics, tools, and decision support.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic thinking with strong execution bias
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, CI, operational excellence concepts)
  • Advanced Excel / Power BI / dashboarding skills (or equivalent)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to synthesize complex inputs into leadership‑ready insights

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance and formalize commissioning phase checklists, templates, and process documentation
  • Ensure deliverables are aligned with updated roles, responsibilities, and expectations
  • Update roles and responsibilities documentation across commissioning stakeholders
  • Align expectations between internal teams and external partners
  • Design and implement a core set of metrics to monitor commissioning progress, risks, and overall “health”
  • Support leadership with concise, actionable reporting
  • Provide direct support for 2026 Priority Huddles, including preparation, tracking, and follow‑through on action items
  • Act as a connective tissue across engineering, PMO, and field execution teams
  • Support development of a scalable workforce strategy across:
    • Internal vs. external resources
    • In‑state vs. out‑of‑state labor
    • Self‑perform vs. vendor execution (BTAs, EPCs)
  • Create tools and dashboards to monitor on‑site resource utilization for key vendors (e.g., Siemens, Ulteig, ECI)
  • Improve transparency into capacity constraints, risks, and deployment efficiency
  • Develop early‑warning indicators for EPC and primary subcontractor resource availability
  • Support proactive planning and mitigation strategies
  • Support and coordinate strategic initiatives spanning RED, ENS, and PMO
  • Translate strategic direction into executable plans and measurable outcomes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5–8 years of experience in Program strategy, continuous improvement, or operational excellence
  • Capital project, commissioning, construction, or infrastructure‑heavy environments
  • Process development and documentation
  • KPI and metrics design
  • Cross‑functional stakeholder coordination

Preferred Experience

  • Utility, energy, or data center delivery experience
  • Exposure to:
    • Commissioning or construction lifecycle phases
    • EPC and subcontractor management models
    • Workforce planning and capacity modeling
  • Familiarity with PMO or portfolio‑level governance structures
