Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Business Analyst, a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

Procurement/Business Analyst

Location: Detroit, MI – 3 days in office
Duration: 12 months then eligible for Contract renewal

Role Type: W2 contract engagement 

This is a W2 contract opportunity with our company that MUST be worked on a W2 ONLY, NO C2C/No 1099 eligibility for this position. 

Job Summary 

• Process ServiceNow procurement requests in SAP. Interpret and problem solve late payment reports.
• Maintain software maintenance inventory. Process and distribute reports.
• Interface with internal customers and suppliers to problem solve.
• High volume of work processing procurement requests utilizing Service Now and SAP.
• Position requires ability to learn quickly and understands the overall concept of procurement processing.
• Proven ability to perform analysis on invoicing issues and work with the business and Vendors.
• Basic understanding of analysis and IT industry, e.g. emerging technologies, industry standards, support services, and accepted IT processes and methodologies.
• Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translate feedback, needs and solutions.
• Financial understanding of unbilled liability process.

Qualifications:

• Must have a strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams .
• Experience working in SAP and ServiceNow, problem-solving skills, and good communication skills.
• Understanding of procurement of IT software, hardware, and consulting services.
• Having an IT background would be helpful.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience working in a contract management environment.
• The candidate may be required to come downtown 1-2 times a month.
