Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in budgeting processes, financial planning workflows, and variance analysis.
- Strong understanding of IT systems and software, including their purpose, functionality, user groups, and system-to-system interactions.
- Solid accounting and financial acumen, with experience producing cost reports covering labor, materials, and overhead.
- Proficiency with Microsoft productivity tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Word
- Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives under tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering effective and positive team collaboration.
- Capable of working both independently and within a team in fast‑paced, dynamic environments.
- Strong writing and documentation skills, particularly in developing Business Cases and responses for compliance or regulatory bodies.
- Highly analytical, organized, and detail‑oriented, with a focus on accuracy and clarity.
- Adept at partnering with business and technical teams to identify, document, and clearly articulate findings and responses

- Utility (Electric) Experience
- 5 Years of relevant experience
- Information Technology degree, Accounting degree, or MBA
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the organization’s primary subject matter expert for the Annual Planning Cycle, leading all budgeting activities, authoring use cases, coordinating audit and discovery responses, and producing required artifacts for the client's Rate Case.
- Partners closely with both technical and business teams regularly and on all deliverables
- Acts as the organization’s financial controller, developing budgets and forecasts, monitoring and analyzing costs, preparing reports, identifying risks and opportunities, and completing monthly journal entries and variance commentary.
- Conducts ad hoc financial and operational analyses and develops presentations for leadership to consume
- Supports IT operational functions, including quality assurance testing, requirements gathering, and creation of technical documentation
