Strategic Staffing Solutions is currently looking for a Senior Data Platform Architect, a W2 contract opportunity with one of our largest clients!

This is a W2 contract opportunity, and the candidates should be willing to work on our W2 ONLY, NO C2C.

Job Description:

In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Required Skills:

-Demonstrated experience (3+ years), at scale, with the following technologies and tools:

• Python
• Spark
• Iceberg

Highly desired

• -5+ years with modern Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Data Lakehouse architectures
• -5+ years providing technical leadership and guidance for data modernization, re-engineering, migration or re-platforming efforts
• -Demonstrated experience, at-scale, with modern data platforms, tools and patterns (e.g., Python, Spark, Iceberg, GCP, Azure)
• -Demonstrated experience leading the design and target state implementation of modern data platforms, including utilization of automation, setting of standards and pattern usage

Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
