Project Management Consultant 

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $70-$73/hr

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Management Consultant to support complex, high-impact initiatives that require strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and strong analytical judgment. This role focuses on advising stakeholders, evaluating multi-faceted project challenges, and helping drive successful delivery in regulated or policy-driven environments.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working through ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and consulting with senior client partners on large-scale initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultative project management support for complex, large-scale initiatives with broad organizational impact
• Lead and support project planning activities, including scope definition, timelines, dependencies, and risk identification
• Analyze complex, multi-faceted project challenges, including long-term or unprecedented factors
• Support resolution of project issues by applying knowledge of project management methodologies, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
• Partner strategically with client stakeholders to align objectives, deliverables, and expectations
• Prepare and deliver project documentation, status updates, and recommendations for leadership and client teams

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience
• Experience with Capital Markets/and or Sales and Trading experience
• Experience may be demonstrated through one or a combination of:
  • Professional or consulting experience
  • Military experience
  • Formal training or education

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in regulated environments (government, healthcare, finance, or similar)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and evaluate complex trade-offs
• Consulting or advisory experience supporting enterprise initiatives
