Process Analyst in Data Analytics

Location: Onsite  (Tampa, FL | Phoenix, AZ | San Antonio, TX)

Pay Rate: $40-$43/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Process Analyst to support auto claims business processes related to repair, rental, and tow payments. This role is focused on process ownership, metrics, and reporting to determine whether business processes are running as designed and performing effectively. The analyst will be directly responsible for process design, documentation, and continuous improvement through data analysis, dashboarding, and KPI development.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes to identify process gaps, breakdowns, and improvement opportunities
• Be directly responsible for process design, documentation, and process improvement initiatives
• Support process ownership by developing and monitoring business metrics and performance indicators
• Gather existing measures and determine the most effective way to display and communicate those metrics
• Design and implement leading and lagging indicators to evaluate whether processes are operating as intended
• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor process execution and performance thresholds
• Monitor processes to determine if they are running as designed and identify performance deviations
• Conduct data mining from an analytics perspective to support business process evaluation
• Partner with business process owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and reporting needs
• Communicate complex data and insights in clear, actionable formats
• Evaluate data quality and ensure accuracy and consistency of reported metrics

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of experience as a Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Prior experience analyzing process gaps and supporting process improvement initiatives
• Direct experience with process design, documentation, and optimization
• Experience designing and managing business metrics, KPIs, and performance indicators
• Experience building dashboards and operational reports
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Required Tools & Technical Skills

• PowerApps (required)
• Tableau (required)
• Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of how to connect to databases and retrieve data
• Knowledge of database structure, including pulling tables and creating datasets for reporting
• Experience creating dashboards from database-driven data sources
• Experience performing data mining and analysis for business process evaluation

Daily Duties Using Required Tools

• Create and maintain dashboards and reports using PowerApps, Tableau, and Excel
• Connect to internal databases, pull required tables, and structure data for reporting
• Design and refine KPIs and metrics used to evaluate business process health
• Analyze data trends to assess whether processes are running as designed
• Provide regular reporting and performance insights to business process owners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting claims, insurance, or financial operations
• Experience working with operational workflows (repair, rental, payments, or similar)
• Experience monitoring processes to determine effectiveness and compliance with design
• Ability to translate business needs into measurable performance metrics
