This role manages multiple interrelated projects and orchestrates outcomes to achieve a broader program goal. The Project Manager plans, implements, and monitors programs from inception through delivery, ensuring alignment to roadmap, timelines, budgets, and success metrics. The role requires strong stakeholder coordination, risk management, performance measurement, and continuous improvement across cost, quality, and schedule.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, data-driven, and experienced in managing complex initiatives within regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects under a unified program roadmap
  • Plan and implement schedules; track progress from initiation through delivery
  • Define and report program status, milestones, risks, issues, and success metrics
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks impacting project or program delivery
  • Manage and forecast budgets; drive cost, performance, and schedule optimization
  • Facilitate communication and coordination across project teams
  • Lead stakeholder engagement and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
  • Maintain awareness of business trends, operational constraints, and internal processes impacting program outcomes
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and effectiveness

Team-Specific Responsibilities

  • Lead enhancement of high-volume, call-driving digital message templates to improve clarity and effectiveness
  • Oversee transformation of online document notifications to incorporate personalized, actionable content
  • Complete end-to-end member journey mapping across multiple product lines
  • Identify opportunities for message template enhancement, consolidation, or retirement
  • Use performance data to inform and update digital messaging and document standards
  • Measure, analyze, and report KPIs, including:
    • Volume of template enhancements and obsolescence
    • Message send volume
    • CTA click-through rates
    • Message opt-out rates
    • Number of customer journeys evaluated

Required Skills & Experience

Top Skills (in order of importance)

  1. Project Management
    • 7+ years managing complex, multi-initiative projects
    • Strong Agile delivery, planning, and risk management experience
  2. Digital Messaging Strategy & Execution
    • 5+ years developing and implementing digital messaging strategies
    • Experience with personalization, journey mapping, and A/B testing
  3. Data Analysis & Performance Measurement
    • 4+ years defining KPIs and analyzing performance metrics
    • Experience interpreting engagement data such as click-through and opt-out rates
  4. Detail-Oriented & Highly Organized
    • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver with precision

Technology & Tools

  • Jira (workflow management, task tracking, reporting)
  • Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Box (documentation and collaboration)
  • Analytics tools (preferred, not required)

Daily Duties Using Technology

  • Update project plans, task assignments, and statuses in Jira
  • Lead or participate in daily stand-ups and status reviews
  • Review message template enhancements and personalization efforts using Microsoft tools and Box
  • Collaborate with content, design, and product teams on journey mapping deliverables
  • Analyze messaging performance data to identify trends and insights
  • Document findings, standards, and recommendations for future messaging strategies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills (marketing, product, design, engineering)
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable project plans
  • Experience communicating with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Bonus: Understanding of UX principles applied to digital messaging
