Job Title: Software Engineer
Contract Length: 18-month contract role (On site work)
Location: Phoenix, AZ (3 days per week, 8 hours per day on-site)

Role Overview
We are seeking a strong Senior Software Engineer with hands-on backend expertise to design, build, deploy, and support resilient enterprise applications. This is an on-site role requiring consistent collaboration and ownership of backend services across the full development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot microservices
- Deploy, operate, and support applications on Apache Tomcat and OpenShift (OCP)
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Karate
- Manage builds and dependencies using Gradle
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions
- Work with Oracle databases and perform data processing using Ab Initio ETL
- Design, publish, and manage APIs using Apigee
- Implement caching and distributed systems using Hazelcast
- Build resilient, fault-tolerant services using Resilience4j
- Perform performance and load testing using JMeter
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and analyze applications using Splunk and AppDynamics
- Manage application secrets and configurations using HashiCorp Vault
- Leverage GitHub Copilot to improve developer productivity and code quality
