Role Overview

This role focuses on analyzing non-IT business problems and translating them into clear, actionable requirements that support process improvement initiatives. The Business Analyst will partner closely with process owners and solution developers to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions. A strong emphasis is placed on financial impact assessment and credit risk analytics within Credit Card and Consumer Loan portfolios.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Document current-state and future-state processes and requirements
• Develop frameworks to assess financial payback and prepare ROI analyses for proposed investments
• Identify and evaluate alternative solutions, providing clear recommendations
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and solution development teams to ensure shared understanding
• Assess process performance using data-driven insights
• Produce clear, well-structured documentation and presentations for stakeholders

Daily Duties Using Technology Tools

• Use SAS and SQL to extract, analyze, and validate large datasets
• Perform credit risk analysis related to Credit Card and Consumer Loan portfolios
• Develop analytical outputs to support business decisions and ROI evaluations
• Translate data insights into business requirements and process improvement recommendations

Required Skills & Experience

1. SAS – 6–10 years of experience
2. SQL – 6–10 years of experience
3. Data Analysis & Modeling – 5–10 years of experience

Domain Experience:

• Credit risk analytics for Credit Card and Consumer Loans
• Strong experience preparing ROI and financial impact statements
