Overview

We are seeking a Conversational Agent Developer to design, build, and deploy intelligent synthetic agents that power self-service experiences, agent assist tools, and operational insights for financial services environments. This role sits at the intersection of Generative AI, cloud-native engineering, and conversational UX, working closely with product, data, and platform teams to deliver scalable, production-grade virtual agents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy synthetic conversational agents for customer self-service, internal agent assistance, and operational intelligence use cases
  • Build and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs to support conversational workflows and integrations
  • Develop and optimize conversational flows using Dialogflow CX and ES
  • Implement prompt engineering strategies to improve LLM response quality, accuracy, and reliability
  • Leverage Agent Development Kit (ADK) to build, orchestrate, and manage agent behavior
  • Integrate and manage APIs using Apigee for secure, scalable API lifecycle management
  • Deploy and operate solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Create and monitor Splunk dashboards for observability, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, UX, compliance, engineering) to deliver high-quality conversational experiences
  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise security, compliance, and reliability standards, particularly in regulated environments

Required Qualifications

  • Strong programming experience in Python or Java
  • Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
  • Hands-on experience with Dialogflow CX and/or Dialogflow ES
  • Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments
  • Proven prompt engineering experience for LLM-driven conversational systems
  • Hands-on experience with Agent Development Kit (ADK)
  • Experience with API management platforms, preferably Apigee
  • Experience creating and using Splunk dashboards for monitoring and analytics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, banking, or fintech environments
  • Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI applications
  • Understanding of conversational UX principles and user-centered design
  • Experience deploying AI systems in regulated or compliance-driven environments
