Financial Operations Analyst
Onsite 100% - Salt Lake City, UT
Contract Length: 12 months
Role Type: W2 only, no C2C, no 1099

W2 Rate               $28/hr

Required Skills:

• 1+ years of experience in financial analysis
• Interest Rates/Derivatives experience is not required – strong financial background required
• 1+ year investments/trading/derivative or interest rate knowledge required – this is the team being supported
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong team player and ability to work as a team
• Familiarity with OTC derivatives and confirmation process is a plus

Education: Bachelor's Degree Required

Key responsibilities:

• In the Interest Rate Derivative Operations team, focusing on the confirmations and documentation areas.
• Involves ensuring timely and accurate confirmation of trade economics with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Will play the key part in managing operational risk and supporting internal requirements.
• Follow up with clients to obtain confirmations
• Review internal reports and monitor outstanding items to ensure timely resolution
• Partner with trading, sales, and other internal stakeholders to resolve breaks and discrepancies
• Escalate aging or high-risk exceptions
