Job Title: Operations Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly collaborative and detail-oriented Operations & Client Account Management Analyst to support account lifecycle events and ensure operational readiness prior to trading activity. This role partners across internal teams and external counterparties to interpret client requirements, establish operational workflows, and maintain strong controls within a regulated financial services environment.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical skills, operational discipline, and the ability to proactively identify and resolve risks before they impact clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage tasks across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure all operational information related to account events is received, validated, and configured prior to trading activity.

  • Liaise with client-appointed counterparties (e.g., custodians, prime brokers) to establish connectivity, operational workflows, and respond to service requests and inquiries.

  • Interpret legal documentation and business requirements to determine operational client needs, service standards, and account setup requirements.

  • Coordinate internal and external controls, approvals, and sign-offs to ensure governance and compliance standards are met.

  • Ensure accuracy of accounting data and provide accounting policy oversight to support a controlled investment management environment.

  • Proactively monitor operational risk indicators and resolve potential issues before they impact clients or trading activity.

  • Review and analyze account-level metrics, including:

    • Cash and position reconciliation breaks

    • Corporate actions processing

    • NAV reconciliations

    • Failing trades

    • Standard and non-standard reporting deliverables

  • Research, escalate, and remediate exceptions in accordance with established operating standards.

  • Provide thought leadership on evolving regulatory requirements and contribute to the development of technology-enabled operational solutions.

  • Apply process re-engineering methodologies to improve efficiency, scalability, and control across operational workflows.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly collaborative, team-oriented, and an effective consensus builder


Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience in Operations and/or the Financial Services industry

  • Demonstrated ability to partner across products, regions, and functional teams

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven risk management mindset with a focus on controls and issue prevention

  • Experience working within regulated environments or supporting investment management processes
