We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Developer / BI Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL/PL-SQL development, and modern reporting/ETL tools. This role supports complex data initiatives within a financial services environment, particularly around advisory products. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, works independently, and collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
Design, develop, and optimize MS SQL Server databases, schemas, and data models.
Create, refine, and maintain stored procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
Develop and deliver scalable reports and dashboards using Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
Build, automate, and maintain ETL pipelines using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).
Schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot workflows using Broadcom AutoSys.
Manage secure file transfers and data exchanges using IBM Connect:Direct (NDM).
Collaborate with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data quality, validation, governance, and compliance with industry standards.
Support performance optimization, troubleshooting, and production deployments.
Work closely within financial services teams, especially around advisory products and investment data.
7+ years database design & development with MS SQL Server
7+ years working with T-SQL and/or PL/SQL for stored procedures and complex queries
5+ years of experience with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS)
3+ years developing dashboards and models in Power BI
3+ years ETL development using MS SSIS
3+ years scheduling & managing workloads with Broadcom AutoSys
3+ years hands-on experience with IBM Connect:Direct (NDM)
Strong understanding of financial services, specifically advisory products, investment data flows, and regulatory considerations.
