Will support high-impact initiatives across Independent Risk Management, including Operational Risk, Credit Risk, and Independent Testing. This role requires deep analytical ability, strong operational risk oversight knowledge, and proven experience advising executive leadership. The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills, and extensive experience navigating complex risk environments, particularly within Auto Lending.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and consult on complex, large-scale initiatives with broad impact across Independent Risk Management functions.
• Review and analyze multi-faceted, longer-term risk challenges involving numerous variables, including intangible or unprecedented factors.
• Conduct analytical assessments using data to support decision-making and develop clear, actionable recommendations.
• Present operational risk findings, monitoring results, and emerging risks to executive leadership in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide independent oversight and challenge of operational risk frameworks, governance, and business processes.
• Support the resolution of complex issues by applying an in-depth understanding of operational risk policies, procedures, regulatory expectations, and compliance requirements.
• Strategically collaborate with stakeholders at all organizational levels to ensure alignment with enterprise risk objectives.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in risk governance, controls, and execution standards.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Operational Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military service, or education.
• Advanced knowledge of operational risk frameworks, governance practices, and risk oversight methodologies.
• Proven ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets to support decisions and explain resolutions to sophisticated issues.
• Demonstrated experience presenting risk assessments, emerging risks, or monitoring results to senior and executive leaders.
• Background in Auto Lending operations and related processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Equivalent combination of 5+ years of Risk Management experience (work, consulting, military, or education) also qualifies.
