Human Resources (HR) Manager
Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite)
Contract : 24mths ( possible CTH )
Pay: $35-40/hr W2 ONLY
Position Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Manager will oversee and execute HR policies, procedures, and compliance initiatives while supporting employee engagement, operational excellence, and performance management across the organization. This role will focus on coaching operational Claims leaders, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring adherence to company standards and federal, state, and local employment laws. The HR Manager will play a key role in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting leadership development, and aligning HR initiatives with business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all HR operations related to employee policies, procedures, benefits, and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations.
Administer and support programs such as health insurance, flexible work arrangements, maternity leave, open enrollment, and paid leave benefits.
Partner with leadership to recommend and implement competitive compensation and benefits strategies.
Ensure a workplace that promotes inclusivity, fairness, and zero tolerance for harassment or discrimination: handle employee relations issues and complaints per policy and legal standards.
Supervise and mentor HR staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Coach operational Claims leaders on management best practices using the Perform & Sustain framework, focusing on coaching effectiveness, performance management, time management, and continuous improvement behaviors.
Observe and evaluate coaching sessions and team huddles, providing actionable feedback to enhance leadership capabilities and operational performance.
Collaborate with a Facilitator/Coaches to ensure alignment with program objectives, training content, and feedback documentation standards.
Utilize Microsoft Office Suite and Zoom daily for scheduling, observation documentation, reporting, and remote collaboration.
Record coaching observations and performance insights using MS Forms and maintain accurate, confidential records.

Operational Performance Coaching – 1+ years

Strong Verbal Communication and Behavioral Feedback Delivery – 2+ years
Technology Proficiency:
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Forms)
Laptop-based work tools
Zoom for meetings, coaching sessions, and collaboration
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
2+ years of operational leadership coaching a must have
progressive experience in HR management, employee relations
Proven ability to coach and develop leaders, facilitate performance improvement, and drive behavioral change.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of HR compliance, labor law, and performance management frameworks.
