Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Independent Risk Management Consultant for a contingent resource assignment. In this role, you will collaborate on moderately complex initiatives within Independent Risk Management areas such as Credit Risk, Independent Testing, or Operational Risk. Your responsibilities will include delivering on large-scale planning, analyzing risk-related challenges, and contributing to the resolution of complex issues. You will work closely with client personnel to ensure alignment with policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in or consult on moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Independent Risk Management.
- Review and analyze Independent Risk Management challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Contribute to large-scale planning efforts related to Independent Risk Management deliverables.
- Collaborate with others to resolve moderately complex issues and meet deliverables.
- Leverage a solid understanding of risk management functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Partner with client personnel to ensure alignment with risk objectives and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in Risk Management, or equivalent experience demonstrated through:
- Professional work or consulting experience.
- Relevant training or military experience.
- Educational background in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven experience analyzing complex business or system changes and assessing impacts on business processes.
- Ability to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of policies, procedures, processes, systems, and internal controls.
- Proficiency in creating data visualizations to effectively communicate risk-related information.
- Experience developing and executing reports in Tableau or Excel to support key risk oversight activities.
