Job Title: Data Analyst III
Location: Charlotte, NC 
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week
Contract NO C2C


Job Summary:
We are seeking a Customer Services Business Intelligence Data Visualization Lead Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making through the development of advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Power BI, SQL, Power Automate, and Excel, with experience translating complex data into actionable insights for stakeholders and leadership teams.

The role focuses on building robust data models, designing dynamic dashboards, and ensuring data integrity to support the Customer Experience & Operations Analytics Team in achieving strategic business goals.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support Customer Service and Experience teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, identify pain points, and deliver effective data visualization solutions.
  • Rebuild and optimize reporting tools following the launch of new call switch, email, IVR, WFM vendor, and Genesys systems.
  • Perform data modeling, wrangling, and transformation using SQL to ensure Power BI solutions are efficient and scalable.
  • Identify trends, outliers, and actionable insights through data exploration and advanced analytics.
  • Develop and deliver KPIs, heat maps, scatterplots, and drill-down features to meet user requirements.
  • Champion data accuracy and integrity through validation, exploration, and correction of datasets.
  • Lead and participate in special projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance business outcomes.
  • Present reports, findings, and recommendations to business leaders and stakeholders effectively.
  • Utilize Power Automate and Power Apps to automate workflows and enhance reporting capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates degree 
  • 6+ years of experience designing, developing, and testing data visualization solutions with a focus on dashboards.
  • 4+ years of experience developing Power BI reports.
  • Strong command of SQL for data transformation and wrangling.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analyses to leadership teams.
  • Working knowledge of programming languages like Python and an understanding of predictive modeling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for Power BI.
  • Experience with Power BI Web Service, data flows, and publishing dashboards.
  • Experience with AWS Redshift, S3, or other cloud-based solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python or R for advanced analytics and machine learning.
  • Strong understanding of statistical models, algorithms, and advanced mathematics.
  • Experience in data mining and exploratory analysis across disciplines.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on detail and data integrity.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Mastery of machine learning techniques and advanced statistics.
  • IT certifications related to Power BI, AWS, or Python.
