Job Description

Job title: Project Lead (HEDIS/ Medicare Stars)
Location:
Remote for candidates located in EST (No FL, NY) 

Contract: 12-month contract with chance of extending or converting. 
Pay rate: $43-$46/HR

Engagement Description –
Responsible for design and execution of member and provider facing initiatives in support of the CMS Star Ratings program. Position may include activities such as working with vendors and developing programs and summarizing performance data to determine results. Excellent communication skills, project management, strong attention to detail, and ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously is required.

Top 3 Required Skills/Experience –

  • Working knowledge of HEDIS and Medicare Stars.
  • Strong organizational skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail to develop and maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation of all project activities, issues, lessons learned, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, planning, verbal, and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Strong project management leadership, facilitation, negotiation, team coaching, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet necessary deadlines.

  • Ability to apply the principles of independent logical, analytical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft packages, including Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to build trust and demonstrates integrity in all circumstances.
  • Ability to work with and empower others on a collaborative basis to ensure success of unit team.
  • Ability to effectively present budgetary and/or cost information and respond to questions as appropriate.
  • Other related skills and/or abilities may be required to perform this job.

Education/Certifications – Include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Master’s degree in a related field preferred. Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Continuous learning, as defined by the Company’s learning philosophy, is required. Certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred and encouraged.
