What You’ll Do

As an Excavating Operator, you’ll operate and maintain heavy machinery to deliver high-quality excavation and site development services. Key responsibilities include:

• Operate excavators, power shovels, scraper loaders, backhoes, and other heavy equipment with precision.

• Execute excavation tasks like backfilling, breaking concrete, or removing rock, meeting project specifications.

• Conduct pre-operation inspections to identify maintenance needs and perform or request repairs.

• Interpret digging plans, machine specifications, and safety procedures for accurate task completion.

• Monitor grade stakes, material levels, and hand signals to ensure quality and compliance.

• Transport materials efficiently across job sites, factories, or warehouses.

• Uphold safety protocols and company standards to maintain a productive work environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking motivated operators who excel in fast-paced, outdoor settings. Ideal candidates have:

• Experience: 1-2 years operating heavy machinery (e.g., excavators, backhoes) preferred.

• Skills: Strong knowledge of excavation techniques, ability to read plans, and excellent mechanical problem-solving skills.

• Safety Training: Willingness to complete safety awareness training and adhere to protocols.

• Physical Ability: Able to lift heavy objects, kneel, crouch, crawl in tight spaces, and demonstrate strong hand-eye-foot coordination.
