We are seeking an ambitious and high-energy Director of Smart Home Business Development to drive our expansion into Florida’s Smart Home Technology Deployment market. This role will lead growth and revenue generation efforts, oversee the Smart Home sales funnel, and manage Sales team onboarding and development in collaboration with the COO. This position offers a fast-track career path to Smart Home Department Head, with an 80% increase in base salary upon promotion.
Develop and implement a growth strategy focused on financial performance and customer satisfaction.
Conduct market research to identify new markets, customer needs, and emerging trends in Smart Home technology.
Arrange and lead business meetings with prospective clients to secure partnerships and contracts.
Promote our Smart Home products and services, aligning with clients’ objectives and needs.
Maintain accurate records of sales, revenue, and invoices in collaboration with the Customer Success Manager and Finance team.
Provide exceptional after-sales support and trustworthy feedback to ensure client satisfaction.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Mentor and develop entry-level staff into high-performing Salespeople and Smart Technology Installers.
Experience: Prior experience in Smart Technology or AI (e.g., Smart Homes, Smart Vehicles, Smart Data, Smart Hospitality) is preferred and prioritized.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Business, Human Resources, Communications, Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Project).
Soft Skills: Exceptional customer service, presentation, and communication skills; high-energy, results-driven, and team-oriented.
Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
Leadership: Proven ability to interact, communicate, and influence individuals at all organizational levels.
