Now Hiring: Sewer & Excavation Crew Foreman
Location: Valparaiso, IN
Pay: $30–$40/hour base + performance-based commission

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor / Crew Lead Excavator & Installer to join our growing team in Valparaiso, Indiana. This is a leadership role responsible for overseeing sewer repair and septic system installation projects from start to finish. If you have a strong background in excavation, septic, and sewer work — along with the leadership skills to run a crew — we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and manage a 3-person crew on septic field installations and sewer repairs

• Operate equipment including excavators and skid steers

• Conduct pre-job planning and ensure projects are executed to pre-designed plans

• Use transit/laser levels to shoot grades in alignment with drawings

• Interact with CRM software (ServiceTitan) to document work progress and communicate with the office

• Ensure superior customer service throughout the project lifecycle

• Maintain jobsite safety and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of experience in sewer repair and septic system installation

• Proven leadership skills in managing field crews

• Strong excavator and earth-moving equipment experience

• Ability to read and execute plans, use a transit/laser to shoot grades

• Valid CDL license to tow equipment (required)

• Technologically savvy with the ability to document projects via CRM (ServiceTitan)

• Experience in any of the following is highly valued:

  • Pre-treatment, drip, or aeration-type septic systems

  • City sewer main tapping

  • Pipe bursting

  • Slip lining

  • Installing new water service lines (specify up to what size)

Additional Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and organizational skills

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive base pay: $30–$40 per hour (DOE)
