We are seeking a dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee all operational functions, reporting directly to the CEO. This pivotal role will integrate and optimize Field Technician Operations, Sales, Dispatch, Customer Service, Human Resources, and Administration. The COO will establish standardized procedures, enforce accountability, and drive strategic projects to scale our operations. This position is ideal for a disciplined leader who excels in systems development, team management, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced home services environment.
Operational Leadership: Manage and mentor departmental heads across operations, sales, dispatch, customer service, and field teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and KPIs.
Strategic Execution: Lead growth initiatives, including new market entries, service vertical expansions (e.g., insulation, chimney), and technology enhancements, with clear timelines and success metrics.
Financial Accountability: Monitor net profit margins, operational budgets, and job-level profitability, partnering with the CFO to optimize resource allocation and labor efficiency.
Systems Development: Build and refine SOPs, workflows, and playbooks; drive adoption of tools like Workiz, Asana, Looker Studio, Google Sheets, QuickBooks, and Go High Level (GHL).
Quality & Customer Experience: Oversee quality assurance, technician training, and issue-resolution protocols to maintain high customer satisfaction and a 4.9-star rating.
Performance Metrics: Achieve 25% net profit margin, 10,000+ annual service jobs, $10,000+ weekly gross revenue per technician, <15% job cancellation rate, and 100% compliance with KPIs/reporting.
7+ years of senior operational leadership experience (COO or equivalent) in home services, HVAC, construction, or similar industries.
Proven success in scaling operations, optimizing team structures, and implementing accountability systems.
Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, profitability, and resource allocation.
Proficiency with Workiz, Asana, Looker Studio, Google Workspace, QuickBooks, and CRM systems (GHL preferred).
Exceptional communication and emotional intelligence to build trust and drive accountability across teams.
