As a Manufacturing Maintenance Technician, you’ll specialize in electrical maintenance and repair of heavy machinery, including corrugators, binders, and related equipment, in a high-energy production environment. Your expertise in troubleshooting, reading schematics, and working with high-voltage systems (480V+) will drive plant efficiency and safety. This role offers competitive pay, a 3rd shift schedule (10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday, with possible weekends), and opportunities to advance in a supportive, team-oriented setting.
Perform electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial equipment, including corrugators, binders, AC/DC motors, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and ladder logic to diagnose issues and execute installations.
Conduct preventative, corrective, and unplanned maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure production efficiency.
Ensure compliance with National Electric Code (NEC) and strict safety guidelines, actively participating in the plant’s safety program.
Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track maintenance activities and manage work orders.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to prioritize tasks and maintain seamless operations.
Maintain and repair power distribution infrastructure, PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and operator interfaces as needed.
3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in industrial, manufacturing, or military settings.
Strong knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC) and experience with medium/high voltage systems (480V+).
Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, including single-line diagrams and ladder logic.
Experience with AC/DC motors, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with CMMS or similar maintenance tracking software.
Preferred: Experience in a corrugated box plant, paper industry, or similar manufacturing environment.
Preferred: Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and power distribution systems.
Preferred: Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent certification.
Valid driver’s license and ability to work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday) with possible weekend overtime.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
Perform tasks including standing, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in industrial environments.
Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges).
Work 3rd shift (10:00 PM–6:00 AM, Monday–Friday) with occasional weekend or overtime hours when required.
