Pump Installation Superintendent
Location: Pearsall, Texas, 78017
Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent

Job Summary:
The Water Well Pump Installation Manager oversees and manages the installation, maintenance, and repair of water well pump systems. This role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery by supervising field crews, coordinating scheduling and logistics, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and schedule pump installation crews and equipment.
  • Coordinate day-to-day installation and service operations for submersible, turbine, and booster pump systems.
  • Review well and pump specifications, job site conditions, and equipment needs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures, state and local regulations, and industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide field support to resolve problems during installations.
  • Maintain inventory of pump parts, tools, and supplies.
  • Communicate regularly with customers, contractors, engineers, and company leadership regarding job status and project scope.
  • Train and mentor new installers and technicians.
  • Monitor job costs, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports on completed work, incidents, and maintenance records.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in water well pump installation, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Knowledge of vertical turbine pumps, submersible pumps, and related control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret well logs, pump curves, and blueprints.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA safety requirements and environmental regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • TDLR license (or equivalent state certification) preferred and compensated.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily field-based with some office responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work in varying outdoor conditions and lift heavy equipment.
  • May require travel to multiple job sites and occasional weekend or emergency work.
