Job Description: Bartender

Location: 11800 W. Broad St, Richmond, VA

Position: Contract Bartender

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers. - Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests. - Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and fully stocked. - Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and legal regulations. - Provide excellent customer service and engage with patrons. - Manage cash registers and process transactions accurately. - Mix and garnish cocktails according to standard recipes. - Monitor and manage inventory, placing orders as needed. - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.

Skills & Qualifications: - Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced environment. - Strong knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends. - Knowledge of local, state, and federal liquor laws. - Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items. - Customer service-oriented with a friendly and positive attitude. - TIPS or similar alcohol safety certification preferred. - Ability to handle cash and operate a POS system efficiently.
