Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess strong culinary skills. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes according to our restaurant's standards.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards. - Ensure all food is prepared in a timely and efficient manner. - Maintain a clean and organized work station. - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Assist with inventory management and stock rotation. - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations. - Handle and store ingredients properly to minimize waste. - Assist in training and mentoring junior kitchen staff.
Qualifications: - Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Attention to detail and a commitment to food quality and presentation. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Culinary school diploma or equivalent experience is a plus.
