Job Description: Event Helper

Location: Charlottesville, VA 22901

Position: Contract Event Helper

Responsibilities: - Assist in event setup and breakdown, including arranging tables, chairs, and decorations. - Support event coordinators with logistics and on-site event management. - Provide excellent customer service to event attendees and address any inquiries or issues. - Help with the coordination of event activities and schedules. - Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of event spaces before, during, and after events. - Assist with registration, ticketing, and crowd control as needed. - Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the successful execution of events.

Skills: - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. - Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. - Basic knowledge of event planning and logistics. - Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects as required for event setup. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Reliable transportation to and from event locations in Charlottesville, VA 22901.
