Job Description: Event Helper
Location: Charlottesville, VA 22902
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Contract Event Helper to assist in the planning and execution of various events. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist with event setup, breakdown, and logistics - Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and venue staff - Support event registration and guest services - Manage event materials and supplies - Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations - Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting and attendee assistance - Maintain clear and effective communication with event organizers and team members
Required Skills: - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed - Physical ability to lift and carry event materials and equipment
