Job Title: Event Helper

Location: Richmond, VA 23231

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Contract Event Helper to assist with various event-related tasks. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities: - Assist in the setup and breakdown of event spaces. - Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and event staff. - Greet and direct guests upon arrival. - Manage registration and check-in processes. - Provide support for audiovisual equipment and technology. - Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of event areas. - Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events. - Perform other related duties as assigned.

Skills Required: - Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Experience with event planning and coordination. - Familiarity with audiovisual equipment and technology. - Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software a plus. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
