Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Contract Barista to join our team at our bustling café located at 1 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and espresso drinks to customers - Operate coffee-making equipment with precision and care - Maintain a clean and organized workspace - Provide friendly and efficient service to all customers - Handle cash and card transactions accurately - Assist in inventory management and order supplies as needed - Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations

Requirements: - Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays - High level of attention to detail and cleanliness - Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs

Preferred Skills: - Latte art proficiency - Experience with specialty coffee - Basic knowledge of food and beverage pairings
