Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Contract Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting chefs in executing menu items to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and portion ingredients according to recipes and specifications. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas. - Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes. - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines. - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service. - Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager.

Qualifications: - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment. - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Requirements: - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. - Valid Food Handler's certification or willingness to obtain one.
