Job Description: We are seeking a professional and experienced Waiter/Waitress to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Greet and seat guests in a timely and courteous manner - Present menus, take orders, and answer questions regarding food and beverages - Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately - Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any concerns - Process payments and handle cash transactions - Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas - Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Required Skills: - Strong customer service and communication skills - Ability to multi-task and work under pressure - Knowledge of food and beverage menus - Basic math skills for handling payments - Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness - Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Qualifications: - Previous experience in a similar role - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
