Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Contract Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers, maintaining communication with dispatch, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Safely and efficiently transport goods to and from specified locations. - Load and unload delivery vehicles. - Verify delivery information, including addresses and contact details. - Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports. - Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery times. - Ensure adherence to all traffic laws and safety regulations. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
Skills and Qualifications: - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Strong communication and customer service skills. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed. - Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation apps. - High school diploma or equivalent.
