Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep Cook/Dishwasher to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing ingredients for cooking, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and ensuring all dishes and kitchen equipment are properly sanitized. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring seasonings. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, wiping down surfaces, and taking out the trash. - Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using both manual and automated methods. - Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly sanitized and stored. - Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed. - Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Skills and Qualifications: - Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques. - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
