Job Title: Bartender

Location: Glen Allen, VA

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Contract Bartender to join our team in Glen Allen, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a clean and well-stocked bar area.

Key Responsibilities: - Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences. - Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner. - Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. - Monitor and manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary. - Adhere to all local and state alcohol regulations and company policies. - Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently. - Assist with setting up and closing down the bar area for events or daily operations. - Provide recommendations and upsell beverages to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications: - Proven experience as a bartender in a high-volume setting. - Strong knowledge of drink recipes and mixology techniques. - Excellent customer service and communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Must be at least 21 years of age and possess any necessary certifications (e.g., TIPS certification). - Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as kegs and cases of liquor.
