Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our team on a contract basis in Richmond, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in culinary arts, excellent knife skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards - Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies - Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and equipment - Ensure food is stored and cooked at correct temperatures - Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines - Collaborate with the kitchen team to meet service deadlines - Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies

Qualifications:

- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred - Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent time-management and organizational skills - Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately - Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
