RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Scrum Master - Senior Level in Irondale, AL. This is a full-time direct-hire Hybrid Remote assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive package including benefits, vacation and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Scrum Master - Senior Level

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will facilitate Agile practices and Scrum ceremonies to enable high-performing development teams. This role requires a seasoned professional who understands the pillars of Scrum, can navigate team dynamics, handle conflicts constructively, and promote continuous improvement. You will serve as a servant leader, coaching teams on Agile methodologies while removing impediments and fostering collaboration across the organization.

As a Scrum Master - Senior Level YOU will:

· Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
· Guide teams in Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum framework and principles
· Coach team members on the pillars of Scrum: transparency, inspection, and adaptation
· Remove impediments and blockers that hinder team progress
· Foster a culture of continuous improvement through effective retrospectives and actionable insights
· Handle conflicts within teams constructively, facilitating resolution and maintaining team cohesion
· Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog
· Track and communicate team metrics, velocity, and sprint progress to stakeholders
· Shield the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals
· Promote self-organization and cross-functional collaboration within development teams
· Identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance team efficiency
· Mentor junior Scrum Masters and share best practices across the organization
· Work with leadership to align team objectives with organizational goals

YOU are the ideal Scrum Master - Senior Level candidate if you have:

· 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach
· Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the pillars of Scrum
· Proven ability to facilitate effective Scrum ceremonies including retrospectives, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups
· Strong conflict resolution skills with ability to navigate team dynamics and facilitate constructive discussions
· Excellent communication skills with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
· Leadership skills with servant-leader mindset
· Experience coaching and mentoring development teams
· Ability to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement
· Experience tracking and analyzing team metrics and velocity
· Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability

It's a BONUS if you have:

· S.A.F.E (Scaled Agile Framework) experience or certification
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent certification
· Experience scaling Agile practices across multiple teams
· Knowledge of Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
· Experience in various company sizes and organizational structures
· Additional Agile certifications (SAFe Agilist, Agile Coach, etc.)
