Job Description

RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager in Renton, WA. This is a full-time contract Field Based assignment with our client (approximately 6 months, with potential for extension). This position offers a competitive package including benefits.

Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager

As a Project Manager, you will oversee lighting renovations to several Boeing facilities at the Renton Campus. You will be expected to oversee the construction process throughout the entire project life cycle from mobilization to closeout, managing safety protocols, construction documentation, schedules, subcontractor activities, onsite coordination, inspections, stakeholder meetings, and construction closeout documents. This is a hands-on, onsite role managing multi-million-dollar MEP renovations in an occupied manufacturing facility.

As a Project Manager YOU will:

· Manage our client's safety protocols and ensure subcontractors are in compliance
· Oversee construction documentation through Procore (RFI's, Submittals, CO's, etc.)
· Manage construction schedule and subcontractor daily activities
· Coordinate onsite activities and deliveries
· Conduct and call in permit and 3rd party inspections as necessary
· Lead stakeholder meetings and generate weekly meeting minutes
· Manage construction closeout documents and processes
· Manage site specific safety protocols for our client and subcontractors
· Provide and distribute daily reports, monitor subcontractor progress, and identify installation deficiencies
· Manage critical path schedules monthly in Microsoft Project and update 3-week look-ahead schedules weekly
· Read and interpret electrical drawings, cutsheets, and other construction documents
· Manage subcontractors and understand QA/QC requirements and deliverables for each trade
· Manage site and general condition requirements, including scheduling equipment rentals and site services
· Oversee weekly construction meetings to update stakeholders on progress and address unforeseen conditions
· Identify and resolve issues on the construction site promptly, ensuring management and owner representatives are notified immediately

YOU are the ideal Project Manager candidate if you have:

· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project or Construction Management
· Proven track record of successfully overseeing construction projects and implementing cost control measures
· Experience meeting critical path schedules and substantial completion milestones for multi-million-dollar MEP renovations
· Knowledge of OSHA construction safety protocols and regulations
· OSHA 30 certification at minimum (or commitment to recertification if expired)
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, cutsheets, and other construction documents
· Experience managing construction documentation in Procore
· Proficiency with Microsoft Project for schedule management
· Strong leadership qualities to manage and motivate construction crews
· Effective communication skills to interact with clients, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
· Problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Time management skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
· Ability to work necessary hours to meet schedule – minimum 40 hours per week
· Ability to provide (3) references from previous employers or qualified representatives within the construction industry

It's a BONUS if you have:

· PMP/CPM or equivalent certifications demonstrating Project/Construction Management expertise
· OSHA 500 certification
· Experience managing industrial construction projects valued at $5M+
· Experience managing lighting retrofits and upgrades
· Experience developing site specific safety procedures for occupied manufacturing facilities
· Experience working on Boeing or similar aerospace/manufacturing facilities
