RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Welding Inspector in Baltimore, MD. This is a full-time contract Field Based assignment with our client (6-9 months). This position offers a competitive package including benefits.

Overview of YOUR role as a Welding Inspector

As a Welding Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of welding operations on natural gas distribution projects. This role requires a certified professional who can perform comprehensive visual weld inspections, review welding procedures, and ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.

As a Welding Inspector YOU will:

· Perform visual weld inspections for compliance with standards
· Review welding procedures, codes, and specifications
· Identify and address welding defects
· Ensure safety and quality on natural gas distribution projects
· Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation
· Communicate inspection findings to project teams

YOU are the ideal Welding Inspector candidate if you have:

· AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent
· Valid driver's license and clean driving record
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills
· Comfortable working in the field
· Understanding of welding codes and industry standards
· Attention to detail and commitment to quality

It's a BONUS if you have:

· Advanced welding inspection certifications
· Experience with natural gas distribution projects
· Knowledge of pipeline welding standards
