RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full-time, hybrid direct-hire assignment with our client. This position offers a competitive compensation package including benefits, vacation, and holidays.

Overview of YOUR role as a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager to provide leadership and technical expertise for water, wastewater, and groundwater projects throughout Arizona. This position will help maintain the company’s current market presence while supporting the growth and development of their water market practice. You will be responsible for the development and management of all aspects of municipal water and wastewater utility system project planning, design, and services during construction.

As a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager YOU will:

· Lead teams in the delivery of water and wastewater projects from concept to completion
· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, electrical, I&C, structural, CAD) to develop plans and specifications
· Participate in professional organizations and present market-specific papers and presentations
· Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients and key stakeholders
· Assist in marketing initiatives, proposal preparation, and responses to RFPs/RFQs
· Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful execution
· Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical guidance to engineering staff
· Support quality assurance and quality control procedures across all project stages

YOU are the ideal Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer/Senior Project Manager candidate if you have:

· Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering
· Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in water/wastewater engineering
· Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona, or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
· Established network of Arizona-based water/wastewater professionals and contacts
· Regional and technical expertise in water and wastewater design and engineering
· Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
· Proven ability to lead design teams and manage client relationships
· Active participation in professional engineering organizations

It’s a BONUS if you have:

· Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
· Experience with smart water systems, hydraulic modeling, or risk and resiliency design
· Background in data analytics, GIS, or process automation within water infrastructure projects
