RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Construction Manager in Chehalis, WA. This is a full time, contract, on site position with our client. 

Overview of YOUR role as a Construction Manager

RCS is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee the ground-up construction of an Industrial Fueling Station in Chehalis, WA. The Construction Manager will be responsible for the full construction life cycle from mobilization to closeout, managing subcontractors, safety compliance, schedules, documentation, and stakeholder communication. This is a 10-month onsite construction project involving complex industrial construction tasks.

As a Construction Manager YOU will:

• Oversee all construction phases, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and OSHA standards
• Manage project documentation using Procore (RFIs, Submittals, Change Orders, etc.)
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and onsite deliveries
• Maintain and update construction schedules using Microsoft Project
• Call in permit and third-party inspections; coordinate AHJ/special inspections
• Lead stakeholder meetings and distribute weekly meeting minutes
• Monitor daily progress, enforce QA/QC, and report installation deficiencies
• Ensure WA State and site-specific compliance documentation is maintained

YOU are the ideal Construction Manager candidate if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or equivalent field experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Project or Construction Management
• OSHA 30 Certification (or ability to renew); knowledge of OSHA construction safety protocols
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, CAD drawings, and construction documents
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar Industrial construction projects
• Proficiency using Procore and Microsoft Project

It’s a BONUS if you have:

• PMP, CPM, or other Construction Management certifications
• OSHA 500 Certification
• Experience managing projects within hazardous area classifications and working knowledge of P&ID/instrument integration
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills
