Job Description

RCS Staffing has an immediate need for a Project Manager I in Bedford, TX. This is a full time, contract to hire, onsite position with our client.

Overview of YOUR role as a Project Manager I
The Project Manager I will support electric distribution projects by tracking progress, managing schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders. This role plays a key part in maintaining project timelines, budget adherence, and overall performance visibility.

As a Project Manager I YOU will:
• Develop, update, and monitor project schedules and milestones for on-time delivery
• Maintain current project reports and dashboards to track progress and key metrics
• Assist in managing internal and external resource allocations based on workload
• Track permit statuses and ensure timely submission and follow-up with agencies
• Coordinate regular project updates with clients, teams, and subcontractors
• Identify inefficiencies and support improvements in workflows and reporting
• Utilize project management tools and systems for data entry, reporting, and documentation

YOU are the ideal Project Manager I candidate if you have:
• Experience with project tracking, reporting, and scheduling
• Strong coordination and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Familiarity with permit and regulatory processes (e.g., TXDOT, city, county)
• Proficiency in project management tools and systems

It’s a BONUS if you have:
• Experience in electric distribution projects or utility infrastructure
• Knowledge of process improvement strategies in project environments
